Snippet – a work in progress

They watched Zombie Zoo, a Z-rated movie: scary carnivores turned into zombies and, in theory, became even more scary. The make-up was not the most realistic ever produced, and it became a cult classic, watched by midnight’s children and accompanied by copious drinking. A late-night comedian joked that it had gone straight from release to the close-out bin in a gas station on Interstate-95 near Savannah, Georgia. This is not true. Zombie Zoo was listed in the top twenty best selling videos (slash-horror genre) for four of the ten years after it was released.
